BRACKEN, Arthur

Mohave Daily News, Mohave Valley, AZ - Published in Mohave Daily News Online from February 19 to February 26, 2012 - Arthur Bracken, age 70, a 10-year resident of Laughlin, Nev., passed away on Thursday, January 26, 2012. He was born May 14, 1941. Arthur was undoubtedly the most well-known poker dealer of his generation, having dealt at almost every tournament gathering in the country (including the World Series) for over 20 years. Arthur was well-loved for his sense of humor and innate ability to enjoy life. In recent years, he led a comparatively quiet life in Laughlin, often patronizing the local race book, and occasionally managing a small tournament in the area.
