Wickenburg Funeral Home & Crematory Wickenburg, Arizona Carol Lee Sawyer January 3, 1943 - February 17, 2012 Carol Lee Sawyer, age 69, passed away on February 17, 2012 in Sun City West, Arizona. Carol was born January 3, 1943 in New York to Frank Mohr and Eudora Bumpus Mohr. She worked for years in County Government and had retired and come to Wickenburg recently. She is survived by her daughter Vicki Hunter & grandchildren of Georgia as well as many friend here in Wickenburg. ~~~~~~~~~ Wickenburg Funeral Home & Crematory Wickenburg, Arizona Carol Lee Sawyer, age 69, passed away on February 17, 2012 in Sun City West, Arizona. Carol was born January 3, 1943 in New York to Frank Mohr and Eudora Bumpus Mohr. Her early years were spent in New York State where she graduated from SUNY Fredonia with a degree in Education. She also worked for the Chautauqua County Sheriff's Office for many years. She is survived by her daughters Vickie Hunter, grandchildren Kristina Hunter and Joseph Rochelean, and great-granddaughter Jimmi Nicole, and sisters Nancy Yocum and Ann Gabel who have presented her with numerous nieces and nephews. She was the mother by choice to Teresa Overend and BFF to Bonnie Celona. Carol went to be with her God on Friday morning. It is a blessing that she will no longer be encumbered by her health issues and the constant reminder of her limitations. Carol is now singing karaoke and forever riding horses across the sky.
