John David Powers, 67, of Mayer, Ariz., born Jan. 3, 1942 in Elkhart, Ind., passed away Jan. 3, 2009 at the VA Hospital in Prescott, Ariz.

Private memorial services will take place later.

Services were entrusted to the Hampton Funeral Home.
