Alexia Kilgour died Thursday
Alexia Kilgour, 89, died at Yavapai Community Hospital Thursday.
She was born on Aug. 14, 1885 in Aberdeen, Scotland and came to the United States as a bride in 1907 and moved to Prescott in 1916 where her husband was to operate the stone shed for cutting granite stone for the Yavapai County Courthouse. They had moved here from Salt Lake City, Utah.
She was a long time member of the First Congregational Church, Past Matron of the Order of the Eastern Star in Prescott, the Daughters of the British Empire, and along with her husband had been a former owner of the Kilgour Monument Works in Prescott.
Survivors include on niece, Bessie Clusky, of Toronto, Canada; one nephew, Lloyd George, of Fort Lauderdale, Fla.
Services will be held at Memory Chapel on Saturday at 10 a.m.
Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday at Memory Chapel.
