MOODY, Henson Theodore


The Prescott Courier, Prescott, Arizona Sunday, November 10, 1974 Henson T. Moody Died in Bagdad Henson T. Moody, died at his home in Bagdad Thursday. He was born on June 3, 1892 in Luna, N.M. and came to Thatcher, Arizona Territory in 1898 with his family. The family made the trip in a covered wagon to settle in the eastern Arizona town. He was employed as a plumber and lived in Thatcher until 1944 when he moved to Bagdad. His wife preceded him in death in August. Survivors include one daughter, Mrs. Lloyd Murphy, of Bagdad; one son, Buck of Durango, Colo.; two brothers, Glen, of Thatcher, Jay, of Susanville, Calif.; three sisters, Mrs. Laura Dailey, of Thatcher, Mrs. Margaret Hunter, of Oroville, Calif., Mrs. Fay Barksdale, of Bowie; three grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren, one great-great grandchild. Services will be held at the L.D.S. Chapel in Bagdad Tuesday at 1 p.m. with burial to follow at Mountain View Cemetery. Friends may call at Ruffner Funeral Home on Monday from 4 to 6 p.m.
