Charles Miller Rites Masonic
Mr. Charles C. Miller, 86, died at the Veterans Administration Center (Whipple) Saturday, Nov. 30, after a long illness.
A resident of Prescott for the past 13 years, he came from Fort Sill, Okla. where he retired from the U.S. Army as a master sergeant.
Mr. Miller was born April 20, 1888 at Walnut Grove, Ind.
He served in World War I and II, also the Korean Conflict.
He was a 50-year member of the Masonic Lodge, member of Aztlan Lodge No. 1 of Prescott, 50 year member of the American Legion of Prescott, member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars here and the World War I Barracks of Prescott.
Survivors include; his widow, Emma of Prescott; three sons, Conrad of Texas, Cliff of California and Emil of Nebraska; three daughters, Mrs. Maria Ny of California, Mrs. Dorothy Rogers of Georgia and Mrs. Mildred Goddard of Georgia; 16 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.
Rites will be a Masonic Service at 2 p.m., Wednesday, Dec. 4 at Memory Chapel.
Burial will be in the Masonic Cemetery.
Friends may call at Memory Chapel from 4 until 7 p.m., Tuesday, Dec. 3.
