The Prescott Courier, Prescott, Arizona Thursday, May 30, 1974 Martha Windsor, Former Teacher Dies Mrs. Martha Windsor, 77, for many years a teacher at Washington Elementary School here, died Sunday in a Tucson nursing home. A native of Welsh, La., Mrs. Windsor was a graduate of Arizona State University and later earned a Master of Education degree a the University of Arizona. While residing in Prescott, Mrs. Windsor was active in the Prescott Mother’s Club, the Prescott chapter of the American Association of University Women and the Congregational Church. Survivors include her husband, Lt. Col. (ret.) Merrill C. Windsor, of Long Beach, Calif.; two sons, David of Tucson and Merrill, Jr., of Reston, Va.; a daughter, Mrs. Gardner Rogers, of Perth, Australia; seven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 4 p.m. tomorrow at the Arizona Mortuary Chapel, 7 University Blvd., Tucson, with Dr. John Davies of Trinity Presbyterian Church, Tucson, officiating. Burial will follow at Tucson Memorial Park, East Lawn. The family suggests contributions to the College of Education Scholarship Fund at the University of Arizona.
