Carol (Morris) Butler, 49 of Mesa, Az., passed away Tuesday, February 14, 2012. She was born in Las Alamos, New Mexico on October 3, 1962.
She was preceded in death by her loving father, Dr. Ronald Morris.
Carol is survived by her daughter Kara Butler (Adam King) and son Logan Butler; her mother, Shirley Morris and siblings Laurie (Bob) Doering, David Morris and Trish Schoenborn. In addition, she is survived by nieces and nephews: Traci, Michael and Ashley Doering and Bryce and Lexi Schoenborn.
Carol is also survived by her grandfather, Joseph Ott, of Manassas, Virginia.
Carol graduated from Yuma High in 1980 and ASU in 1984. She loved the outdoors and spent her career organizing recreational activities.
Memorial services will be held at Journey of Faith Church on the corner of Ave 3E and County 14th at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, February 20, 2012.
