The Verde Independent, Cottonwood, Arizona Tuesday, February 21, 2012 Makaela Leann Childress 8/23/95~2/9/12 Beauty born unto this earth on August 23, 1995 as the “One and Only” baby born and welcomed to this world to Marcus J. Lawrence Medical Center on that day. She was going to grow up and become the Mayor of “HER” town Cottonwood, Arizona. Makaela attended M.U.H.S. and came home with funny stories from school and some not so good ones too, but that’s okay because we love her anyway. She loves everyone. She hugged Me, her Mom, Lauryn Setterlund, everyday. Makaela’s LOVE will live on each day through “Lil” Greg whom is her big brother Gregory Childress II and her little brothers Devyn Levi Stonebrink Cotto-Setterlund and Jadyn Samuel Stonebrink Cotto-Setterlund of Payson, Arizona along with her family friends and our memories. Jaqcyn Griffi, Grandma Edie and I were there when God sent his Angels to call Makaela home. God granted me this gift of a glimpse through a vision of Makaela entering heaven, where Jesus, Our Savior who brought Rita Louise Lambert, Makaela’s Maternal Grandmother with him to welcome Makaela home to heaven. I saw Makaela smiling and opening her arms extended out as she said “WOW, this is soooo Cool” on February 9, 2012. Jesus said his father has many mansions, and I’m sure Makaela will visit all of our loved ones. Grandmas are Wilma, Elise and Alice and Pam. Step Dad and My Husband Mikel Setterlund, Friends who changed our lives Sonia Ann Morris who passed in 2011 and many others. Baby Girl Enjoy Heaven!!! Services will be at Emmanuel Fellowship, 1580 Fir St. Saturday, February 25. Celebration of Life/Social Time 12-2 pm with DJ Face. Service starts at 2pm.
