Amador Gonzales, Jr, age 60, of South Carolina, passed away Feb. 12, 2012 in his home in South Carolina. He was born on Aug. 19, 1951 in Globe, Ariz., the son of Amador A. and Florence Gonzales, Sr.
Amador was a long-time resident of the Globe-Miami area before moving to South Carolina six years ago. He worked as a machinist for Inspiration Consolidated Copper Co. & Asarco in Winkelman.
Amador loved being in the outdoors, hunting, going to the river and having a good time with family and friends. He especially loved his “Hot Chili” (the hotter the better).
He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.
He leaves behind his wife, Joanne (Russell); his mother, Florence Gonzales of Claypool; mother-in-law, Nordessa (Billie) Russell of Claypool; seven children, Amador J. Gonzales III of Globe, April Fogle of Queen Creek, Gabriel Gonzales of Gilbert, Joe Zayne and Michael Lance both of South Carolina, and Michael and Chivonne; and three stepchildren, Eileen Beasley, Nordessa Sessions, and Michelle Roseanne Jones all of South Carolina.
He also leaves behind one brother, Richard (Kookie) Gonzales; two sisters, Tonie (John) Brownstead and Susie (Armando) Delgado, Jr., all of Tucson, Ariz., as well as seven grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his father, Amador A. Gonzales, Sr.; his sister, Frances Gonzales; and brother, Arthur Gonzales.
A memorial service will be held in South Carolina in addition to a memorial service in Miami to be held at a later date.

Miami — Amador Gonzales, Jr. passed away on Feb. 12, 2012 in South Carolina.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, April 14, 2012 at 9:30 a.m., beginning with the Rosary followed by a Mass at Our Lady of the Blessed Sacrament Church in Miami, Ariz.
