MCMICKEN, Ailene Pehl

West Valley View, Avondale, Arizona Tuesday, February 21, 2012 Aliene Pehl McMicken, 89, of Litchfield Park died Feb. 12, 2012. Mrs. McMicken was born Jan. 4, 1923, in Llano, Texas. She attended Llano High School and Southwest Texas Teachers College. While working at Lackland Air Force Base in San Antonio, she met Robert A. on a blind date. They were married in Phoenix on Oct. 29, 1944. She lived at La Loma Village and Care Center in Litchfield Park for the last five years. She was preceded in death by her husband, Bob. She is survived by one daughter, Margaret Bartol of Avondale; and one sister, Mary Agnes Taylor of Austin, Texas. Private services will be held.
