West Valley View, Avondale, Arizona December 03, 2010 Roberto Elizondo, 95, of Avondale died Nov. 27, 2010, in Avondale. Mr. Elizondo was born Nov. 12, 1915, in Saltillo, Coahuila, Mexico. He moved to Arizona in 1963. He was employed as a ranch foreman and a dairy worker. Mr. Elizonda was preceded in death by his wife, Gloria. He is survived by three daughters, Alejandra E. Walker and Patricia E. Stecher, both of Phoenix, and Aida R. Elizondo of Avondale; seven sons, Roberto Jr., Carlos of Rio Rancho, N.M., Antonio of Phoenix, Jesus of Buckeye, Marcos of Phoenix, Juan of Fresno, Calif., and Andres of Safford; one sister, Eufemia E. Rios of Saltillo, Mexico; 31 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. A viewing will be at 9:30 a.m. today at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 13277 W. Thomas Road, Goodyear. Services will be at 10 a.m. Burial will be at Resthaven Park Cemetery, 6290 W. Northern Ave., Glendale.
