The Daily Miner, Kingman, AZ - Published on february 21, 2012 - Paula (Meg) Margret (Whittaker-Whited) Dolan, 43, died Feb. 9, 2012, in Yucca. She was born Feb. 2, 1969, on the family farm in Umpqua, Ore. She graduated from Sutherlin, Ore., High School and attended Umpqua Community College. In 1992, she married Patrick Michael Dolan. He died in 1995. She worked as a caretaker and was active in HIV education and support groups. In 2004, she moved to Yucca and remained active in the community. Survivors include her daughter, Kynda Dolan of Golden Valley; partner Rick Polson of Yucca; mother Bonnie Komp Ellison of Yucca; sisters Cari Barker of Oakland, Ore., and Dede Linton of Roseburg, Ore.; brothers David Whited of Vashon, Wash., Pat Whited of Oakland, Rick Whited of Springfield, Ore., Jeff Whited of Unalaska, Alaska, Mike Whited of Newberg, Ore., Tim Whited of Sutherlin, Scott Whittaker of Olympia, Wash., and Leonard Whittaker of Kingman; and numerous nieces and nephews, cousins, aunts and uncles. A private memorial service will be held.
