ARMIJO, Margaret C.

Westcott Funeral Home, Cottonwood, Arizona Margaret C. Armijo, 89, of Cottonwood died February 23, 2012. She was born September 27, 1922 in Springerville, the daughter of Alisandro and Emma Carrillo. She was a graduate of Springerville schools. Mrs. Armijo worked in the retail and the restaurant business from New Mexico to California through Northern Arizona. She was a member of Grace Covenant Fellowship in Phoenix for eleven years. She enjoyed time with family and all her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She enjoyed crossword puzzles. Mrs. Armijo was preceded in death by her husband Isaias R. Armijo and a daughter Barbara J. Armijo. She is survived by sons Louis D. Armijo (Priscilla) of Cottonwood and Raymond D. Armijo (Gina Armijo) of Cottonwood; daughters, Olga Zamora (John) of Phoenix and Yolanda A. Tapia of Phoenix; brothers Raymond Carrillo and Richard Carrillo (Linda) of Eager; sisters Helen Armijo (Porfirio) of Reserve, New Mexico, Ida Baca of Albuquerque, New Mexico and Mary Figueroa (Mario) of Mesa; sixteen grandchildren and thirty-four great-grandchildren. Services will be held Sunday, February 26 in the Grace Covenant Fellowship, 3849 W. Encanto Blvd., Phoenix, AZ 85009 from 4-6 PM with a reception to follow.
