Today's News-Herald, Lake Havasu City, AZ - Published Sunday, February 26, 2012 - Catherine Josephine Kinney, 90, passed away February 24, 2012 at the Polidori House in Lake Havasu City, Arizona. She was born to John and Elizabeth (Ryan) Allard in Deferiet, New York April 14, 1921. Catherine married William Malay in June 1939 and together they had 6 children. They moved to Lake Havasu City in 1972. William passed away in 1976. In 1984, Catherine married Charles Kinney. Catherine is survived by her sons; William Malay, Bernard Malay, Thomas Malay, Michael Malay, and Donald Malay; daughter, Jeanette Shorney; sisters, Sister Elizabeth Young and Sister Elizabeth Jean; 21 grandchildren and 23 great-grandchildren. Catherine was a longtime member of Lake View Community Church. A memorial will be held Monday, February 27, 2012, 10:00 a.m. at Lake View Community Church.
