Today's News-Herald, Lake Havasu City, AZ - Published Sunday, February 26, 2012 - Dolores J. Harvey, 83, passed away Feb. 22, 2012 in Lake Havasu City. She was born May 21, 1928, in Detroit, Mich. Dolores moved to Lake Havasu City 28 years ago, coming from Skidway Lake, Mich. She worked at the Havasu Nursing Home for 24 years before retiring at the age of 80. Dolores enjoyed her life working crossword puzzles, riding her Honda Scooter and visiting the casino. She will be deeply missed. Dolores is survived by her sons, Richard Harvey, of Glendale, Ariz., Alfred Harvey, of Prescott, Mich., Kennith Harvey, of Prescott, Mich., and Jeff Harvey, of Lake Havasu City; daughters, Lorrie Oglie, of Westland, Mich., Susan Valead, of Dearborn, Mich., and Marlene Hernandez, of Stanfield, Ariz.; 15 grandchildren and 26 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Alfred Harvey. At her request, there will be no services. Thoughts and condolences can be sent to the family directly or through lakehavasumortuary.com.
