The Daily Miner, Kingman, AZ - Published on February 26, 2012 - Alton Gene Maders, 79, of Kingman died Wednesday, Feb. 22, 2012, in Kingman. He was born Jan. 24, 1933, in Clarkdale, Ariz. The service was held on Saturday, at Kingman Praise Chapel, 419 Harrison St. Sutton is handling arrangements. ~~~~~~~~~ The Daily Courier, Prescott, Arizona Thursday, April 26, 2012 Alton G. Maders, 79, of Kingman, Ariz., passed away Feb. 22, 2012. Alton is survived by his wife of 57 years, Peggy Maders; sister Maxine (Jim) Strang; sons Bruce Maders and Joe (Beverly) Maders; four grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, Hank and Alta Breidenbach, father Eugene Maders, and two sons, Michael and Robert. Alton proudly served his country in the U.S. Navy during the Korean War, after which he worked in the mining industry until his retirement in 1990. A memorial service took place at Praise Chapel in Kingman, honoring his life with many friends and family in attendance. Alton will be laid to rest 11 a.m. Monday, May 7, 2012 at Mountain View Cemetery in Prescott, Ariz. Information provided by survivors.
