Donald LeRoy Purdy, age 80, a 19-year resident of Bullhead City, Ariz., died Wednesday, February 1, 2012, in Bullhead City, Ariz. at WARMC.
He was born November 13, 1931, at Mother Samson's Maternity Home in San Diego, (Shelltown), Calif.
After graduating high school, he worked in his uncle's gas station, then did his tour of duty in the Air Force. He finished his working years as a Ceramic Tile setter.
We love and miss you Dad.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Roy Donald and Jessie Markle Purdy; son, Gregg Purdy; and sister, Betty Purdy Finley.
Donald is survived by his wife of 57 years, Barbara of Bullhead City; two daughters, LeAnn and Gay Purdy of Bullhead City; sister, Bobbie Purdy Howell of El Cajon, Calif.; four granddaughters, Tina Lehman, Missy Purdy both of San Diego, Calif., Jessie Lampman of Bullhead City and Cherilynn Fienen of Independence, Kan.; five great-grandchildren, Caisla Sweet Fienen of Independence, Kan., Darren Marshall and Sydney Lehman of San Diego, Calif., Tuesdae and Breezy Lampman Sullivan of Bullhead City; niece, Kelly Howell, and nephew, Mark Howell; and many nieces and nephews from his sister "Betty's" family, all from San Diego, Calif.
