Marvin Freeman Threlkeld Jr. died peacefully in his sleep Feb. 14, 2012, in Gilbert. He was born April 13, 1954, in Dumas, Texas.

He is survived by his loving wife, Lori  D. Threlkeld; daughter Melinda (Delbert) Shone of Gold Canyon; sons: Brian (January) Threlkeld of Show Low, Robert (Amber) Threlkeld of Snowflake, Kelby Threlkeld of Gilbert; brother Bill Threlkeld; sister Karen (Duane) Fox; 13 grandchildren: Domi, Haygen, Bria, Gavin, Marissa, Tyler, Lexi, Lilly, Lyndsey, Addi, Sophi, Ryli, and Kyli; sisters-in-law: Karla (Larry) Wilson, Lisa (Rick) Gilson, Kristin (David) Gimbert, and numerous nieces and nephews.

Marvin was preceded in death by his brother, Tom; sister Cheryl; and his parents: Jo Renner and Marvin Threlkeld.

A memorial service will be held at a later date in Gilbert. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to the American Diabetes Association.
