Idalee Adel Stewart, born Aug. 11, 1941, in Chicago, Ill., passed away Feb. 27, 2012, in Prescott, Ariz.
She was the beloved wife of David; treasured sister of Michael (Nadia); cherished mother of Stacey (Kevin), Douglas and Zoé (Gabriel); stepson Sheldon Najar and stepdaughter Donna (Chip) Terrill; loving grammie of Samantha (Andrew), Christina, Andrew, Nicholas, Jeremiah and Natalie; and proud great-grammie to Rosalyn. She was preceded in death by parents Jack and Rose Adel.
Idalee (Idee) will be dearly missed by many, many friends and family whose lives she has touched with her kind, caring and compassionate ways. The family wishes to express their gratitude to the compassionate and wonderful staff at the Prescott Inpatient Unit of Hospice Family Care for the outstanding care Idalee received for her final two weeks of life.
Services will take place at 1 p.m. Thursday, March 1, 2012, at Heritage Memory Mortuary, 131 Grove St., Prescott, Ariz. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made in Idalee's honor to Hospice Family Care Foundation and marked for the Prescott facility.
Heritage Memory Mortuary assisted the family with final arrangements.
