Grace Plunkett passed away in Lake Havasu City Feb. 15, 2012 at the age of 93. She was born in Whited Township, Minn., July 28, 1918, to Ernest and Mae (Cundy) Ingersoll.
Grace worked as a nurse’s aid for CA County Sanitarium Los Alamitos and for Fletcher’s Florist, Norwalk, Calif. She moved to Lake Havasu City 14 years ago from California. She is a member of Emerald Star Chapter #143 O.E.S. and was Worthy Matron in 1960.
Grace is survived by her loving family, sons, Dwayne E. Plunkett, of Anaheim, Calif., and John and Judy Plunkett III, of Cypress, Calif.; daughter, Dolores and Karl Brown, of Lake Havasu City; brother, Wayne and Mary Ingersoll, of Baytown, Texas; sister-in-law, Lorene Ingersoll, of Alhambra, Calif.; seven grandchildren; and 19 great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents and husband, John S. Plunkett Jr.
Services were Feb. 24, at Rose Hills Memorial Park in Whittier, Calif.
