Arizona Daily Sun, Flagstaff, Arizona Thursday, March 01, 2012 Stanislaus (Stan) Trujillo Stan Trujillo, a member of the Acoma-Pueblo Tribe, born January 16, 1942, died in Flagstaff, Arizona on Friday, February 24th, 2012. He was born in Albuquerque, NM to Santana Trujillo and Diago Vallo. Stan was a Petty Officer 1st Class in the US Navy from 1962 to 1967; he served in the Vietnam War. He was stationed on the USS Rush. Stan is survived by 4 children and many grandchildren. Sons - Daniel Trujillo (Lea), Suzan and Joseph; David Trujillo (Kathy), Meagan and Morgan; Patrick Trujillo, Payton, Troy, Natanee and Ellie; and one daughter, Vera (Ryan) and Ryan. Stan had two brothers, Paul (Rita)and Michael; and three sisters, Gloria (David), Sofie and Irene and many nieces and nephews. Stan was preceded in death by his mother, Santana and his younger brother, Michael. He loved his family very much and was very proud of his Native American heritage. Stan loved Flagstaff. He loved to ride his bicycle everywhere he went – rain or shine. You could find Stan on the corner of Rt. 66 and San Francisco St. where he loved to watch traffic and greet many of his friends and acquaintances. Stan was a dear friend to many. He was able to put a smile on your face and make you feel loved with his good nature and kind heart. He was especially known and appreciated for his delicious brownies. Stan will be greatly missed. A celebration of Stan’s life will be held on Sunday, March 4th at 2 pm at 2102 E. 3rd Ave. in Flagstaff (Corner of 3rd Ave. and Main St.).
