The Daily Miner, Kingman, AZ - Published on March 1, 2012 - In loving memory of Kathrine L. Medlin who went home to the Lord on Wednesday, Feb. 22, 2012. She was preceded in death by her mother, Sylvia Newel; a brother, Gary Ray; and a sister, Mary Switzer, all who lived in Pennsylvania. She resided in Arizona for approximately 57 years. She was born in Meadville, Pa., March 17, 1941. She was a member of Calvary Baptist Church. She is survived by her four daughters, Kathryn (Sandy) Hatch of Kingman, Patricia Chiantaretto of Prescott, Rhonda Easton of Kingman and Rebecca Clouse of Kingman; her nine grandchildren, Willie Hatch Jr., Sundae Edwards, Jonetta Schrick, Amanda Weatherford, Lewis Chiantaretto, Castle Hatch, Nikki Sutterfield, Chelsey Varela and Shaylene Easton; and 15 great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her brother, Ronnie Ray of Pennsylvania. She was a very good cook, loved her family and the Lord and will surely be missed. There will be a memorial service at 1 p.m. Saturday, at Calvary Baptist Church, 3575 Shaeffer Ave. In lieu of flowers, the family would request donations to the Lupus Foundation, 4602 East Grant Road, Tucson, AZ 85712, or your favorite charity.
