The Prescott Courier, Prescott, Arizona Monday, December 2, 1974 Visitation Tonight For Mrs. Ecka Read Mrs. Ecka Read 80, died Saturday, Nov. 30 in a local nursing home. An 18-year resident of Prescott, she had come to Arizona 32 years ago from her native Illinois. She was born June 23, 1894 at Richmond, Ill. She was a housewife and member of the Order of the Eastern Star, Chapter No. 329 in Grayslake, Ill; a Past Worthy Matron, Royal Neighbors of America at Grayslake; member of the Hillaide Club of Prescott and attended the United Methodist Church here. Survivors include: her husband, Edgar, of Prescott; two sisters out of state; a nephew, George Read of Prescott; several nieces and nephews. Friends may call during visitation at Memory Chapel from 6 to 8 p.m. today. Services will be held at Memory Chapel at 10 a.m. Tuesday, Dec. 3. The Rev Russell Hughes will officiate. Cremation will follow at Mountain View Crematory.
