Amelia Sanabria, 84, of Phoenix and formerly Litchfield Park, died Feb. 20, 2012, at the Ryan House in Phoenix.

Mrs. Sanabria was born Oct. 4, 1927, in Garden Grove, Calif., to Juan and Francisca Valdez. She moved to Arizona in 1965 and was a homemaker.

She is survived by one daughter, Olivia Gaucin; three sons, Mario Gaucin, Sergio Gaucin and Miguel; four sisters, Lucy, Eva, Nena and Biki; three brothers, Armando, Alex and Jesus; 13 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild. She was preceded in death by her husband, Efrain.

Services will be from 1 to 3 p.m. Saturday at Avenidas Funeral Chapel, 522 E. Western Ave. in Avondale. A Rosary will be recited at 1.
