West Valley View, Avondale, Arizona Friday, March 02, 2012 Edwin "Joe" Rice, 64, formerly of Tolleson died Feb. 28, 2012, in Prescott Valley. Mr. Rice was born Aug. 29, 1947, in Fairmont, W. Va. He attended Tolleson Union High School and worked for the city of Tolleson as Public Works director. He is survived by one daughter, Shayna Llamas; one son, Shawn; four grandchildren and two sisters, Janet Keesler of Waddell and Theresa Mattingly of Topeka, Kan. Visitation will be at 9 a.m. March 5, with services starting at 10 a.m. at Advantage Crystal Rose Funeral Home, 9155 W. Van Buren St. in Tolleson. Burial will immediately follow at Resthaven Cemetery, 6450 W. Northern Ave. in Glendale.
