William Isaiah Thixton, 83, of Sun City and formerly of Buckeye died of cancer Dec. 27, 2011, in Hospice of the Valley Sun City.

Mr. Thixton was born March 26, 1929, in Ajo. He lived in Buckeye for 30 years. 

He is survived by his wife, Ruby; one son, Wink; one daughter, Diann Kalsbeek; and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
