West Valley View, Avondale, Arizona December 21, 2010 James Edward Diehl Sr., 72, of Litchfield Park, died Dec. 14, 2010. Mr. Diehl was born March 27, 1938, in Cleveland. As a child he moved to Arizona with his parents. He was a Navy veteran. He also held a variety of jobs as a firefighter, police officer and carpenter before working nearly two decades in the paper production industry as a millwright. He is survived by his wife of 49 years, Audrey; four children, Anne Mayer, James Jr., Mac and Lynn Jensen; one brother, Larry; one sister, Judy Wilson; and nine grandchildren. Services will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday at the National Memorial Cemetery of Arizona, 23029 N. Cave Creek Road, Phoenix.
