The White Mountain Independent, Show Low, Arizona ~ 03/06/2012 Jarvis Wylie Clark, Jr., 73, died Monday, Feb. 27, 2012, in Springerville. He was born March 13, 1938, in Roswell, N.M. the son of Jarvis Wylie and Beulah Mae Record Clark. Jarvis served his country in the United States Air Force from 1958-63. He was employed by Texaco for 26 years in oil exploration, was an avid traveler and had a great zest for life. He was a skilled woodworker and enjoyed it tremendously. He will be greatly missed by all family and friends. He is survived by his wife, Thelma Clark of Tucson; daughters: Deborah (Bob) Sennett of Tucson; Cynthia (Ron) Potts of Tucson; grandchildren and great grandchild: Brandon, Tiffany, Gabriel, Tony and Brian. Jarvis was preceded in death by his son, Michael Lee Clark; and brother Gerald Clark. A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, March 6, at St. Mark’s United Methodist Church, 1431 West Magee Road, Tucson, AZ 85704. In lieu of flowers the family has requested that contributions may be made to White Mountain Methodist Church, 261 North 5th Street, Show Low, AZ 85901 or St. Mark’s United Methodist Church or a charity of your choice.
