Lee Roy Stewart, Jr., age 56, of Miami, Ariz. passed on Sunday, Feb. 26, 2012. He was born in Louisiana, Mo. on Oct. 28, 1955, the son of Maude K. (Nulsen) and Lee Roy Stewart, Sr.
Lee proudly served his country in the United States Army. He enjoyed working on cars, woodworking, baking and was a conspiracy theorist. He was a nurturer that never made judgements, always brought out the best in everyone and would always lend a helping hand.
Lee leaves behind in loving memory, Juan Lee Stewart of Phoenix, Ariz., Lee Roy Stewart, III of Douglas, Ariz., and Valerie Anne Stewart of Miami, Ariz.; Mother Molly Bright (Thomas) of Safford, Ariz.; one brother, Glenn Edward Stewart of Safford, Ariz.; four sisters, Rose Lee Carolle of Bakers Field, Calif., Kathleen Diane Danley of Moss Point, Miss., Laura Marie Rea of Safford, Ariz. and Linda Sue Arquette of Safford, Ariz.; ex-wife, Dorothy Behrends (Leon) of Sierra Vista, Ariz.; and five grandchildren.
Memorial Service will be held on Friday, March 10, 2012, at 2 p.m. at the VFW Post 1704, 707 S. Broad Street, in Globe, Ariz.
