Today's News-Herald, Lake Havasu City, AZ - Published Thursday, March 8, 2012 - Raquel Lynn Gray, 27, passed away Feb. 27, in Lake Havasu City. She was born on Sept. 15, 1984, in Riverside, Calif., to Craig Baird and Christine McKofka. She attended Nautilus Elementary, Daytona Middle School and Lake Havasu High School and worked at Midwest Internal Medicine as a medical transcriptionist. She loved to dance, play softball and loved the Lake and spending time with her girls. She was a social butterfly and loved her 1984 Toyota, the year she was born. Raquel is survived by her loving family, daughters, Sheliya Jaeleen Gray and Azariya Selah Gray, both of Lake Havasu City; mother, Christine Lorraine McKofka, of Lake Havasu City; father, Craig Alan Baird of Edgewood, N.M.; brothers, Craig Christopher Baird, of Albuquerque, N.M., and Keith Alan Baird, of Tempe, Ariz.; grandparents, Richard and Carol Baird, of Phoenix, Ariz., and Ted and Esther McKofka, of Riverside, Calif. Raquel is also survived by several aunts and uncles, cousins and second cousins whom she loved and who loved her.
