Phyllis Natalie Nelson Hengen, of Lake Havasu City, left us March 5, 2012. She passed away at Flowers Assisted Living Center in Lake Havasu City.
 
Phyllis was born in Quincy Mass., and moved to Lake Havasu City 23 years ago.

Phyllis was active in the Elks Lodge, VFW, and Lake Havasu Yacht Club. She also loved playing piano, camping, waterskiing and snow skiing. She loved collecting rocks and geodes from the desert area.

Phyllis is survived by her daughter, Sharon Meyers and her husband, Harris, of San Jose, Calif.; brother, Charles Anderson, of Richmond Hill Ga.; and grandchild, Bennet Meyers.

Memorial services will be at Lietz-Fraze Funeral Home Chapel Saturday, at 11 a.m., with Kathy Kenney saying words of comfort.
