West Valley View, Avondale, Arizona Tuesday, March 06, 2012 Joel E. "Joe" May, 67, of Buckeye died March 2, 2012, in Buckeye after an extended illness. Mr. May was born Oct. 15, 1944, in Cambria, Pa. He moved to Arizona in 1949. He had been engaged in farming all his life and was known for being a custom harvester. He was preceded in death by his wife of 46 years, Elaine. He is survived by one son, Byron of Buckeye; and three grandchildren. A memorial service will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Grace Fellowship Church, 1300 N. Miller Road in Buckeye. The Rev. Charles Clayborn will officiate. Funeral arrangements were made by Ganley's Buckeye Funeral Home.
