West Valley View, Avondale, Arizona Friday, March 09, 2012 Michael Fisher, 73, of Phoenix and formerly of Buckeye died of cancer Feb. 23, 2012, in Tucson. Mr. Fisher was born Aug. 9, 1938, in Buckeye. He is survived by one daughter, Mary Frances of Tucson; five sons, Michael A. of Orange Park, Fla., Christopher M. of Tucson, Mathew M. of Tacoma, Wash., Richard A. and John P. of Tucson; five sisters, Stella Carrera, Rachel Pino, Margret Hernandez, Patsy Morales and Delia Loyd; two brothers, Edward and George; 24 grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren. A rosary recital will be at 9 a.m. Saturday at St. Henry's Catholic Church, 128 S. Third St. in Buckeye, followed by a Mass celebration at 10 a.m. The Rev. Billy Kosco will officiate. Memorials can be sent to the Cancer Research of Arizona. Funeral arrangements were made by Ganley's Buckeye Funeral Home.
