MARCUCCI, Albert

Today's News-Herald, Lake Havasu City, AZ - Published Sunday, March 11, 2012 - Albert Marcucci of Lake Havasu City, left us March 4, 2012. He passed away at Valley Hospital in Las Vegas, Nev. Albert was born in Carroll, Iowa and later moved to Glendale, Calif. He enlisted at Long Beach Naval Air Station and completed Reserve Officers School in North Carolina in the US Navy and served in World War II. After his service to our nation, he worked for 23 years in the Glendale Fire Department. Albert was active in the VFW and the Moose Lodge. He loved making things and working with his hands. He made furniture and built homes as well. Albert is survived by his wife, Adele; and children, Albert, David, Cheri, Debbie, Jackie and Kathi. He is also survived by nine grandchildren and six great-grandchildren with another on the way, who will miss him greatly. Memorial services will be at Riverside National Cemetery at a later date.
