LACOMIS, Shawnna Kathleen

Today's News-Herald, Lake Havasu City, AZ - Published Sunday, March 11, 2012 - Shawnna Kathleen Gillis Heynen Lacomis was born Jan. 25, 1970. Shawnna is survived by her daughter, Tabitha Gillis; mother and father, Kathy and Bob Heynen of Lake Havasu City; two step-brothers, Cornel and Tom Heynen of California. Shawnna was a resident of Parker from 1984 through 1990 and graduated from Parker High School in 1988. In 1990 she relocated to San Francisco, but returned to Parker in 1994 where she lived through 2001. She was an employee of the Parker Chamber of Commerce and later the office of the La Paz County Clerk's office. Shawnna and her daughter relocated to Philadelphia, Pa. in 2001; later moving to Jeffersonville, Ind. where she was employed by the Humana of the Commonwealth of Kentucky. She died Feb. 13, 2012. A memorial service will be held in her memory on March 17, 2012 at 11 a.m. at the First Baptist Church in Lake Havasu City, located at 113 N. Acoma Blvd. Friends and family are invited, with a reception to follow at the home of Bob and Kathy Heynen.
