Today's News-Herald, Lake Havasu City, AZ - Published Sunday, March 11, 2012 - Katherine A. Boyles, 89, of Lake Havasu City was a loving mother to James Beaver of Arkansas; mother-in-law to Audrey; a wonderful grandmother to Greg, Carolyn, Susan and Brian; an amazing great-grandmother to Jason, Ashley, Brandon, Hailey and Ryan; and a great friend to many. She is preceded in death by her husband, Wallace Boyles and her grandson, Michael. She passed away suddenly March 1, 2012 at Havasu Regional Hospital. Katherine was born Nov. 8, 1922 in Hopkinton, Iowa. Kaye was a long time resident in Lake Havasu. Kaye loved traveling and getting together with her friends and family. She was a devoted member of Havasu Baptist Church. She was always ready to lend a helping hand to anyone who needed it. She loved and was loved by many. A memorial service of her life took place at the Havasu Baptist Church Sunday March 4, 2012. She will be buried at the Westminster Memorial Park in Westminster, Calif. next to her husband Wallace Boyles. She will be deeply missed.
