Arthur Jerry Metlicka, 89, passed away on July 28, 2003 in Sun City
West, AZ. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and great-
grandfather, and will be forever missed.
Born April 26, 1914, he lived in Illinois until his retirement form
Western Electric.
He is survived by his beloved wife of 63 years, Dorothy; son, Arthur L.
Metlicka (wife Carole), daughter, Judith Ann Larson (husband Richard);
grandchildren, Joann, James, Scott, Tara, & Robert and six great-
grandchildren.
After retirement he and his wife Dorothy moved to Florida for 10 years
and in 1985 they moved to Sun City West, AZ. He was an avid duck hunter
& fisherman, and enjoyed many summers in Wisconsin at their log cabin.
A Memorial Service will be held at 11am, Friday at Crown of Life
Lutheran Church, 13131 Spanish Garden Dr., Sun City West, AZ.
Sunland Mortuary is in charge of arrangements.
