Mae Foutz Peterson, 85 of Mesa and a native Arizonan passed away on
Wednesday, July 23, 2003. A beloved wife and mother, she is survived by
her loving husband of 65 years. Horold A. Peterson, and their six
children, H. Wayne Peterson, Shirley M. Armstrong, Steven L. Peterson,
Joyce Smith, Thomas A. Peterson, and Tina Scott. She has 39
grandchildren and 67 great-grandchildren. The fifth of 12 children, she
is also survived by two sisters, Melva Hansen of Mesa and Leona Taylor
of Pima, AZ and a brother, Max Foutz of California. Mae was active in
the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and had a strong
testimony of its truthfulness. As her family, we feel honored, to have
known her in this life and look forward to our reunion in the next.
Friday, August 1st the viewing will be held at Bunker's Garden Chapel,
33 N. Centennial Way, Mesa, AZ from 6:30 PM to 8:30 AM.
Saturday, August 2nd Visitation will be at the Olive Ward Building, 525
E. 2nd Ave., Mesa, AZ starting at 9:00 AM with the funeral beginning at
10:00 AM.
