Dr. Andres Ramos-Pell died suddenly on Saturday, July 26, 2003 at 8:30
in the evening as a result of a motorcycle accident. Dr. Pell was born
in Manchester New Hampshire and, at age 35, was the oldest of Dr. Ana
Ramos-Pell and Mr Larry Pell's three children. He attended schools in
Saudi Arabia, Holland and all over the United States. Upon graduation
from High School he served in the U. S. Navy for four years. He
graduated from New York Chiropractic College in 1997 and has been the
practicing physician for Family Chiropractic on 19th Avenue in Phoenix
for the last four years. As a healer, Dr. Pell contributed to the
community in many ways. One of his main contributions was his study and
teaching at the Kaze Arashi Ryu (Windstorm Tradition) school of martial
arts. He had studied martial arts since age 5 and had achieved Moku Roku
status in Kaze Arashi Ryu. He loved the traditional Japanese arts and
was dedicated to a lifetime of commitment to the brothers of his dojo
who shared his passion. Though his contributions to friends and family
were too many to mention, he was deeply committed to his motorcycle club
the "Lords of the Horde". He had been riding motorcycles since the age
of 13. He died engaged in his life-long passion....riding his
motorcycle.
He is survived by his parents, his brother Airman Larry Allen Pell,
presently stationed at Cannon AFB, his sister Alex Andrea Pell from
Glendale Arizona, his beloved "abuelita" Justa Ramos from Juncos, Puerto
Rico, his "mamaw" Adelene Pell and Aunt Kathy Pell of Asheville, NC, his
Uncle Donald Pell of Lakeland, FL and his Uncle Louie Ortiz from New
York.
Visitation will be open to all friends on Thursday, July 31 from 5-8PM
followed by a funeral service on Friday, August 1st at 1PM. Both
services will be held at the Hansen Mortuary on 7th Street in Phoenix,
Arizona.
