PELL, (DR.), Andres Ramos


The Arizona Republic, Phoenix, Arizona Wednesday, July 30, 2003 Dr. Andres Ramos-Pell died suddenly on Saturday, July 26, 2003 at 8:30 in the evening as a result of a motorcycle accident. Dr. Pell was born in Manchester New Hampshire and, at age 35, was the oldest of Dr. Ana Ramos-Pell and Mr Larry Pell's three children. He attended schools in Saudi Arabia, Holland and all over the United States. Upon graduation from High School he served in the U. S. Navy for four years. He graduated from New York Chiropractic College in 1997 and has been the practicing physician for Family Chiropractic on 19th Avenue in Phoenix for the last four years. As a healer, Dr. Pell contributed to the community in many ways. One of his main contributions was his study and teaching at the Kaze Arashi Ryu (Windstorm Tradition) school of martial arts. He had studied martial arts since age 5 and had achieved Moku Roku status in Kaze Arashi Ryu. He loved the traditional Japanese arts and was dedicated to a lifetime of commitment to the brothers of his dojo who shared his passion. Though his contributions to friends and family were too many to mention, he was deeply committed to his motorcycle club the "Lords of the Horde". He had been riding motorcycles since the age of 13. He died engaged in his life-long passion....riding his motorcycle. He is survived by his parents, his brother Airman Larry Allen Pell, presently stationed at Cannon AFB, his sister Alex Andrea Pell from Glendale Arizona, his beloved "abuelita" Justa Ramos from Juncos, Puerto Rico, his "mamaw" Adelene Pell and Aunt Kathy Pell of Asheville, NC, his Uncle Donald Pell of Lakeland, FL and his Uncle Louie Ortiz from New York. Visitation will be open to all friends on Thursday, July 31 from 5-8PM followed by a funeral service on Friday, August 1st at 1PM. Both services will be held at the Hansen Mortuary on 7th Street in Phoenix, Arizona.
