James Edward Standish, age 70 died peacefully on July 27, 2003. Jim was 
born September 11, 1932 in Masontown Pennsylvania and came to Arizona 
from Rockville Maryland 27 years ago. He spent most of his career in 
automotive sales. He was an amateur writer with a keen sense of humor as 
well as a budding artist. 
He is survived by his loving wife of 47 years Mary, son James, daughter 
Brenda Lund her husband Michael Lund, grandchildren Michael Lund Jr., 
Samantha Lund and Michelle Standish, sisters Gertrude Cave, Margaret 
Weimer, Patricia Mijatov, and Marie Standish. 

Memorial services are private and friends can make donations to Hospice 
of Arizona 2222 W. Northern suite A, Phoenix, AZ 85021.
