Opal Mae Fausett, age 83, passed away Wednesday, March 7, 2012, in Bullhead City, Ariz., with her family by her side. She was born July 4, 1928, in Ventura, Calif., to Frank and Elizabeth Sawyer.
On August 20, 1945, she married the love of her life, William "Ray" Fausett, who she shared 62 wonderful years with.
Her interests included spending time with her family, watching Life Time movies, collecting salt and pepper shakers, all things Elvis Presley, and an occasional donation to her favorite slot machine.
She was a dedicated and loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. Her strength, loyalty and feisty personality were admired by all who knew her.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Ray Fausett; parents, Frank and Elizabeth Sawyer; and son, Bill Fausett.
She is survived by her two daughters, Brenda (Bill) Montgomery, and Pam Fausett; two sons, Gary (Judie) Fausett, and Corky (Mary) Fausett; 14 grandchildren, Lorie Rittman, Dean Fausett, Tracy Williams, Richard Fausett, Teri Schimming, Melissa Fausett, Billy Wyatt, Amber Wyatt, Shawn Fausett, Chad Fausett, Byron Fausett, Larry Fausett, Joel Fausett, Kimberly Fausett; and 19 great- grandchildren.
You will always be in our hearts and missed forever.
