READ, Margaret (Midge)

The Daily Courier, Prescott, Arizona Wednesday, March 14, 2012 Margaret "Midge" Wilde Read, 75, passed away March 10, 2012, as a result of cancer, with her family by her side in Prescott, Ariz. She was born to Thomas and Margaret Wilde on Feb. 4, 1932, in Los Angeles, Calif. She graduated Inglewood High School and then attended college at UCLA, where she met Jack Read and married Feb. 14, 1959. Midge was a member of the Church of Spiritual Living and an active member of the Art Docents. She was known for her generosity and loving nature and was surrounded by art and nature all her life. Graveside services will be 1:30 p.m. Friday, March 16, 2012, at the Odd Fellows Cemetery, S. Virginia Street, Prescott, Ariz. Hampton Funeral Home was entrusted with the arrangements.
