MARTIN, Paul Frederick

The White Mountain Independent, Show Low, Arizona ~ 03/16/2012 Paul Frederick Martin, 75, died in St. Johns March 9, 2012. God opened his arms to received “our” loving brother, father, and husband. He was born Sept. 14, 1936, in Madera, Calif., the son of Erven Martin and Ione Leonard Martin. Many fond memories were made and will be cherished by his friends, family and loved ones. Paul served his country in the U.S. Navy from 1957-77 when he retired with the rank of E-8, Senior Chief Petty Officer. He served in Vietnam. He is survived by his wife, Beverly Jean Martin of St. Johns; sons: Kenneth Dale Martin of Vernon, and Paul Frederick Martin Jr. of Rio Vista, Calif.; daughter Karen Jean Able of Reno, Nev.; brothers: Leonard Martin of Fla., and Erven “Dale” Martin of Ind.; four grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. Paul was predeceased by his parents. Graveside services will be held at a future date at the National Veteran’s Administration Cemetery in Phoenix.
