The Arizona Republic, The (Phoenix, AZ) - November 1, 2004 Kathleen Alice Thiele, 85, of Phoenix passed away Wednesday, October 27, 2004. Kathleen was a native Arizonian born in Humboldt. She was selected "Arizona Teacher of the Year", while teaching at Bonnie Brennan elementary School in Winslow, Arizona in 1968. Her creed was that a little humor is better than a lot of temper. Kathleen taught at various locations throughout Arizona and New Mexico. She loved spending time with her family and is survived by three children Alton Thiele, Louis Thiele, and Dorothea Hultgren; 6 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren; her sister Helen Wilson and brother Joseph Crane. She was dearly loved and will be greatly missed. No services planned. There will be a memorial gathering at her daughter's home on Saturday November 6, 2004 from 1 p.m. - 5 p.m.
