TROMBETTA, Frank

Today's News-Herald, Lake Havasu City, AZ - Published Saturday, March 17, 2012 - Frank was born July 10, 1944, in Wyandotte, Mich., to Frank and Althea Trombetta. Frank moved to Lake Havasu City in 2005. He passed away at LHRC with congestive heart failure March 14, 2012. He fought a long battle with this disease and other illnesses. He is survived by his loving wife, Barbara; son, Ryan; and brother, Dennis (Laura); nephews, Nick (Christy) Trombetta, Marcus Trombetta, Jason (Debbie) Clement, and John (Erin) Clement IV; and nieces, Carey (Jon) Haller and Jennifer (Mike) Neff. His many great-nephews and great-nieces will remember “Uncle Frank” and his many kindnesses over the years. His dog, Furio, also survives him and was showered with Frank’s love and affection. Frank went to SARA Park almost every morning. Dogs were always a very special part of his life. Frank was an avid reader and history buff. He enjoyed the shooting range, opera, music, art, college football and life. He wrote a book in 2004 (LATIN KNIGHTS) and a screenplay was developed from that book, but never filmed. He retired as the manager of a cement plant and also worked at the DT&I Railroad. He was loved so much by his family and friends and will be missed and remembered by all who knew him. No services will be performed in LHC. There will be a celebration of his life this summer in Michigan where his family and Barbara’s family reside. In remembrance of Frank and in lieu of donations and flowers, please perform a random act of kindness for someone today. Thoughts and condolences can be sent to Frank’s family at www.lietz-frazefuneralhome.com. Arrangements were placed in the care of Lietz-Fraze Funeral Home & Crematory.
