BROWNING, Ruth (Grammie)

The Wickenburg Sun, Wickenburg, Arizona Wednesday, March 21, 2012 Ruth “Grammie” Browning, passed away on Feb. 14. She is survived by her children Don and Susie, grandchildren Wendy, Rob, and Wade, and great-grandchildren Kaitlyn and Justin. She was preceded in death by her parents Albert and Mary Rhodes, husband Del, brother Troy, and daughter Claudia. She was born Sept. 15, 1926 in Amarillo, Texas, and grew up in Congress and Wickenburg, Ariz. She retired from a long and successful career at the School of Music at Arizona State University. She enjoyed traveling with her husband Del in their motor home. Her happiest times were spent with family and friends. Celebration of life services will be held at noon Saturday (March 24) at Green Acres Cemetery, 401 N. Hayden Road, Scottsdale with a reception to follow. Arrangements entrusted to Tempe Mortuary.
