Bunker Family Funeral & Cremation Mesa, Arizona David Oman Ray March 4, 1955 ~ March 16, 2012 David Oman Ray, 57, a native of Mesa, Arizona, passed away Friday, March 16, 2012. Dave was born March 4, 1955 in Mesa, Arizona. He always had a smile, an encouraging word for anyone with a need, and a wonderful outlook upon life. Dave would be the first to assist in any project needed. He would build and give with no knowledge of the receiver. He was a person of love and compassion. Dave was preceded in death by his parents, Richard and LaVon Ray. Survivors include his wife Cathy Turley Ray, his children David Ray Jr., Ahtanya Paget (Dan), Christine Bushman (Jason), Charlesa Sessions (Matt), Nathaniel Ray (Jennifer Adams), Lynda Pomeroy (Nicholas), Kellan Ray (Nicole Fairchild), Alexander Ray (Launie Adler), Joshua Ray (Alisa “Lucy” Roberts), Matthew Ray, Jeremy Ray, 17 Grandchildren and his siblings Ken, Jean, Elton, Rivon Woolf and Dorothy Shupe. There will be a viewing Thursday, March 22, 2012 from 6-8PM at Bunker’s University Chapel, 3529 East University Dr., Mesa, 85213. Funeral services are Friday, March 23, 2012 at 11 AM, preceded by a visitation at 10 AM at the LDS Mountain View Stake Center, 1550 N. Val Vista, Mesa 85213.
