Carmen Huerta, 66, of Dudleyville, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, March 18, 2012.
Carmen was born the daughter of William and Lupe (Reza) Luna on February 21, 1946 in Tempe. Carmen grew up and attended school in the Copper Corridor area. She married Frederico Heurta and they were celebrating 50 years of marriage this June. Carmen was a loving wife and mother. She was an active member of the Lighthouse Assembly of God Church, but Carmen’s greatest love was her grandchildren.
Carmen is survived by her husband, Frederico Heurta; children, Fred Jr., William, Charlie (Michelle), Jesus (Lisa) and Alex (Lesie); grandchildren, Ashlee, Tiffany, Savannah, Cheyanne, Jazzmin, Jesse, Jared, and Angel; sister, Mary Hernandez; aunt, Antonia Tanori.
A memorial service for Mrs. Huerta is planned for Saturday, March 24, at 10 a.m. at the Lighthouse Assembly of God Church in Winkelman.
