Hervieu Berthelson, 96, of Kingman went to be with the Lord on Sunday, March 18, 2012, in Payson, Ariz. He was born June 13, 1915, in Sanford, Colo., to John and Gurtrude M. Berthelson. He came to Kingman 35 years ago from Barstow, Calif.
Hervieu attended teachers college in Tempe, Ariz., was a truck driver and a carpenter. He was a member of the LDS Church, the Masonic Lodge and was a veteran of the U.S. Army.
He is survived by Debbie Blazer of Payson and Gail Reel of Texas. He is also survived by his grandchildren, Doug and Kim Blazer and Chris Blazer, and seven great-grandchildren and five great-great-grandchildren. He was the beloved husband of Mary V. Berthelson; he is now with his love, Mary. He was a survivor of WWII. Grandpa, we love you and will miss you.
Visitation will be at noon and the service will begin at 1 p.m. Thursday, March 22, at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 610 Eastern Ave., Kingman.
